Scope and contact
This notice concerns the TD Akuna Studios website and initial enquiries. Contact the website team at info@tdakuna.com with a privacy question, request or complaint. Please use “Privacy” in the subject line if helpful, but you do not need a particular form of words to exercise your rights.
Separate notices may apply to casting, recruitment, production work, contractual engagements or other services. This website does not enrol you into those activities.
What the website handles
When you browse, the hosting service receives information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address, requested page, browser information and request time. Access to this private site may also require authentication by the hosting service. The custom website code does not read your account profile.
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, enquiry type and message. Organisation, country, project timing and service requirements are optional. These details remain in the page while you prepare your enquiry. There is no website form-submission endpoint, enquiry database or file-upload facility.
Selecting “Open email app” passes the prepared message to your email application. The enquiry reaches the recipient only if you send it through your email service. Selecting “Copy enquiry” writes the message to your device clipboard at your request. Browser autofill, saved drafts and clipboard history are controlled by your browser, device or email provider.
Purposes and lawful bases
For ordinary business enquiries, the purpose is to understand your request and respond. Where the UK GDPR applies, the relevant basis is the legitimate interest in managing professional correspondence and potential business relationships. If you personally request steps towards a contract with you, those necessary steps may instead rely on the pre-contractual basis. A representative enquiring for a company is not automatically a party to that company’s contract.
Technical processing needed to deliver and protect the website serves the legitimate interests of providing a reliable, secure service. Records needed to comply with a specific legal duty rely on that obligation. These interests do not override your data-protection rights.
Preparing an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. This website has no newsletter sign-up, advertising profile or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Sharing and service providers
If you send an enquiry, the relevant studio personnel and service providers supporting email, IT and business administration may need access to deal with it. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where needed for advice, legal duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Disclosure should be limited to the relevant purpose.
The website does not contain advertising trackers, social-media embeds, externally hosted fonts or audience-measurement scripts. Its custom code does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Hosting and sign-in services process information separately to deliver and protect access; their own privacy information also applies.
International handling
The studio has international relationships, and hosting, email or a particular enquiry may involve processing outside your country. An international relationship alone is not a reason to disclose your enquiry to a partner.
Where a transfer is restricted by UK or EEA data-protection law, it requires an applicable adequacy decision, appropriate contractual or other safeguards, or a permitted exception. The arrangement depends on the recipient and destination. Contact the team for the recipients, locations and safeguards applicable to your enquiry, including how to obtain a copy of relevant safeguards.
Retention
The custom website code does not save enquiry content to a server or browser storage. Content is held in the open page until it is cleared, reloaded or closed, subject to your browser’s own restoration and autofill settings.
Once you send an email, it becomes correspondence. Retention should be limited to the period needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, taking account of the matter’s status, relevant legal and record-keeping duties, disputes and applicable limitation periods. Information no longer required should be deleted or anonymised. Ask the team about the retention applicable to a specific enquiry. Hosting logs and authentication records are subject to the hosting provider’s applicable arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the law and circumstances, you may ask to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exemptions.
Send requests to info@tdakuna.com. A proportionate identity check may be necessary. Under UK data-protection law, requests are generally answered without undue delay and within one month, subject to permitted extensions and timing rules. Requests are normally free.
You may raise a concern with the team and complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You do not have to exhaust an internal procedure before approaching a regulator. If another jurisdiction’s law applies, you may also have rights through your local supervisory authority.
Information you choose to send
There is no statutory requirement to send an enquiry. The required form fields allow a useful response; if you prefer, you can email the team directly. Please provide only information relevant to your request and avoid passport details, financial account details, health information and confidential scripts or investment documents in an initial enquiry.
This is a professional studio website, not a service directed at children. Parents or guardians should handle enquiries involving minors. If you believe a child’s personal information has been sent inappropriately, contact the team.
Changes
This notice will be reviewed when the website or its information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes affecting information already provided should be communicated where required.
